Bryson is 17 months old!

Bryson has officially transitioned to the toddler room at daycare. It has been a rough transition getting used to playing with the big kids and getting to know the teachers. Typically it takes 1-2 weeks to make the transition! It's been a while since I've left daycare in tears for so many consecutive days!! I keep reminding myself its just temporary and before I know it he won't even notice I'm gone!!

Last Friday I peeked into daycare without Bryson seeing me because I wanted to observe how things were going. The kids were sitting in a circle around the teacher and Bryson was talking and then held up his hands which Dad has taught him means "I don't know!" Bryson is so expressive, I love it!! His personality is really starting to show!!

I love when Bryson is thinking of doing something mischievous! You can see it written all over his face and he completely lights up!! We are so lucky to have such a great little guy!!

This past weekend Grandma, Auntie Farrah, Jocelynn and Carsten came to visit! The weather was absolutely beautiful and we spent the entire weekend outside!! I think we wore Grandma out, but had lots of fun!! Bryson loved to watch his big cousins!! His cousins even pulled him in the wagon! We took the kids to a park and Bryson loved to go down the slides!! We even went swinging!!

Bryson was being a good little helper!! :) He even has his own watering can to help Mom water her flowers!!

Grandpa and Grandma Zwart stopped by for a visit on Sunday afternoon! Bryson had to show them his new tricks!

Now that its nice out we have the opportunity to play with the neighbors outside!! We are so blessed to live in such a great neighborhood with amazing neighbors! It's the perfect place to raise Bryson and he'll have so much fun with all of his new friends!!

Bryson is 16 1/2 months old!

Time is just flying by!!!! Winter has been extra long this year, so we haven't had as much playing time outside and we would have liked. However, Bryson got a new pair of water boots and LOVES to splash in the puddles. When Dad and Bryson get home from daycare, they walk to the end of the driveway and play!

Bryson is moving to the toddler room in one week!! He's definitely ready to play with the big boys!! He is down to only one nap a day. Bryson's teachers said that he is the class clown :) apparently during nap time all the kids watch Bryson to see what he'll do next! He'll start jumping up and down in the crib and before the teachers know it, all the kids have joined in!! :)

Bryson loves to watch the deer out the window. We have a deer called NeeNee that sleeps down by the basement door. This morning when Bryson and I went down to feed the cats, NeeNee was laying by the door eating some grass. Bryson and I snuck upstairs to watch her so she wouldn't be scared and he kept saying deer. After NeeNee left, Bryson kept looking out the window trying to find her! He can say "Deer" and it is so cute!!!

We took Bryson to a Timberwolves game the other week and had a lot of fun!! We got to sit in the box at the game and ate pizza and cookies! Bryson was amazed at all the lights and the music!

Bryson has become quite the little helper! He always has to help Mom put the clothes in the washer and dryer and push the on button! I think this is a sign that he's going to make a wonderful husband some day!!! :)

Every morning when Dad puts on Bryson's shoes as we are getting ready to leave for the day, Bryson watches Dora. It's so funny to watch him laugh at the tv! Dad and Bryson also watch videos online of babies laughing, Bryson thinks it's pretty funny!

Last weekend we went home to Wykoff to celebrate Great-Great Grandma's 95th birthday!! We had so much fun!! Bryson was such a good boy at the party. Dad snuck him some frosting before the cake was cut and he insisted on having the first piece, and Great-Great Grandma didn't object! :)

Bryson spent most of the weekend playing nicely with Grandma and Grandpa!!!

This week (April 15th) we got 12 inches of snow!!! Dad, Bryson and I went outside to play in the snow and Dad made a HUGE snowman!! It was so much fun that Bryson didn't want to go inside after an hour! The snowman even attracted the neighbor kids so came over for a look!

Bryson is 15 1/2 months!!

Bryson is growing up way too fast!! Each and every day is an exciting adventure! It has been so fun to see Bryson's personality start to show! He is such a sweet little guy!!!

Bryson has a girlfriend named Macy at daycare. Every morning when I drop off Bryson, she runs over to him. She even held his hand one day :) if that doesn't melt your heart, I don't know what will!! We were also notified that Bryson and another child were fighting over a toy and the other child bit Bryson! I didn't think it was too big of deal, but then I saw the teeth marks on his arm, poor little guy, that must have hurt!! Bryson is getting ready to transition to the toddler room already! He even went for a visit to the toddler room with one of the teachers and helped pick up toys, he's such a good helper! He is also drinking from an open cup!!

Bryson is such a big helper at home too! He spilt milk on the floor and I brought over a paper towel to clean up the mess and he took it from my hands and cleaned it himself!!

Bryson loves to play peek-a-boo and go into the basement. We put a couple of his bigger toys in the basement so he LOVES to go and play there!

Bryson also loves to play in the cupboard! :)

Bryson helping Dad vacuum in the basement!
Bryson chatting with Grandma and Grandpa... He loves to play peekaboo with Grandpa and even tried to toss Grandpa the ball. I think Grandpa is going to have to work on his catching skills!! :)

Valentines Day!

Bryson is getting to be such a big boy!! I came home this week from work and when I walked in he said Mama! :) he's also stating to play tricks on us, like putting his sippy cup in the dish towel drawer. He loves when we sneak up and scare him!

Daycare is getting ready to transition him to the toddler room already! He has been drinking with an open cup and likes to play with silver wear, but hasn't mastered them yet! I'm guessing its going to be harder on us than Bryson! :)

We went sledding for the first time last weekend down the driveway. It was so much fun!!! Bryson even kept his mittens on! Tony bought a couple fort building blocks and is going to make Bryson a fort when it warms up a bit!

Bryson finally got a third tooth!! He looks so cute with only one tooth on top! :) He can say mama, dada, ball and has a word both milky and monkey! Tony will ask Bryson to take out his binky and sit down and Bryson knows just what to do! It's amazing to see how much he has learned!

When he eats he doesnt like when his hands get dirty so we always have to be ready with a napkin :) the cats have learned that when Bryson eats it's snack time! They have turned into quite the scavengers!

Christmas!!

The weekend before Christmas we went to visit Grandma Rocksvold, Auntie and Uncle, and cousins! On Friday night, we were sitting around at Grandma's and Bryson started walking for the first time!!! He walked over and grabbed a toy out of my hand and then walked into the kitchen!!! Dad even got it on video!! We were sure that he was getting close so we wanted to be prepared! Bryson had lots of fun playing with Jocelynn and Carsten!! He even got to watch them go swimming in Grandma's pool!! :)

Bryson loved opening gifts!! Especially tasting the wrapping paper!! He was definitely spoiled at Grandma's!!! Bryson was feeling a little under the weather and was quite partial to Mom and Dad, so next time we see Grandma we have lots of pictures to make up for!!

We went home on Sunday afternoon unpacked and then repacked the car! Monday morning we left for Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Zwart's!

We visited Great-Great Grandma
