Grandma came for a visit!!!

This past weekend Grandma Rocksvold came for a visit! Bryson was all smiles when he saw Grandma!! Grandma stayed in Bryson's room and on Saturday morning, Bryson woke up Grandma with a couple toots! :)

Grandma spent time reading to Bryson! He LOVES reading!!!!

Grandma even participated in bath time! Bryson showed Grandma how much he can splash and all his favorite toys!!

Bryson even showed Grandma his new house on Saturday and took some pictures in his room! Afterwards, we went shopping and stopped for some Mexican! Bryson had fun sitting on Grandma's lap, but was a little disappointed she didn't share her chips with him! :)

August is here!

It's amazing how fast this summer is going!!!

Bryson has had a tough couple weeks! :( He has an ear infection and Thrush and has two terrible tasting medicines that he has to take. Luckily, he is back to his old cheerful self, and almost immediately after he took his medicine!! :)

This weekend Grandpa Rocksvold came to visit! We went for quite a few walks and he wasn't quite sure what Grandpa's dog was, but he was definitely interested! When we were walking, he tried to keep his eye on the dog at all times!!

Bryson laughed for probably 15 minutes straight yesterday, it was the cutest thing in the entire world!!!! Tony would throw Bryson's ball up the stairs and it would bounce down and he let out the best belly laugh of all time!!! Dad accidentally hit Bryson in the head with the ball and he laughed even louder!!! It was so cute!!!

Bryson's favorite book is My Shoes Take Me Where I Want To Go. Yesterday when I held the book up he immediately started crawling towards me! I had our pillow ready that we both share when I read to him. He always has a huge smile on his face when I am reading to him and he watches the pages so closely, it's so cute! These times are something that I will always cherish!!

Bryson is now starting to climb onto things. He can officially reach the second step now and when holding on to the couch he can pull himself up to his knees. We keep joking that one of these days he's going to get up and just start running! :) Bryson even got off the couch by himself yesterday, with Dad's help of course! He turned around and put his little legs down first and off the couch he went! He is so brave, it scares me a little! We are going to wait to put up a gate until we get into the new house. We are both super excited for Bryson to have a yard to run in and space for all of his toys!!

Today we are off to a Twins game-Bryson's 5th game!! The weather has been a little chilly, especially at night so we weren't able to go camping this weekend, but we were still able to play lots outside!!

Since we didn't have Bryson the last two weekends, we feel pretty spoiled this weekend and are having so much fun!!! I love when he is cuddly in the morning and has the best smile in the world!! Every day he makes us realize how blessed we are and we definitely couldn't ask for a better little guy!!! You know he's special when the doctor who has only saw him once before recognized him and said that he is always smiling and it's hard to believe that he has an ear infection!!!

Bryson is crawling!!!

Bryson started crawling officially on July 26th! Bryson was sick the entire week and Dad stayed home with him on Thursday and before Tony knew it, Bryson surprised him and crawled over to his open power aid and spilled it on the carpet! :) Ever since then, Bryson is very mobile and is a fast crawler!! One of his favorite activities is chasing the cats! He loves to sneak up on them and touch them. Unfortunately, his hands are pretty sticky so the cats aren't fond of their new friend!!

On Friday, Grandma and Grandpa Zwart came over to watch Bryson while Mom and Dad went to Duluth. They went for many walks and played nicely! Grandma even documented all the fun they had!!

The following Wednesday, Ashlyn babysat Bryson while Mom and Dad while we went downtown Minneapolis for the Twins game and a night on the town. Ashlyn picked up Bryson from daycare. When we came home early Thursday morning, Bryson and Ashlyn were playing so nicely, it was super cute! Every time that Bryson see's Ashlyn he gives her a big smile!!

On Thursday, Mom and Dad went camping with friends and Grandpa and Grandma Zwart babysat again! Bryson was spoiled to have two weekends in a row with his Grandparents! When Grandpa picked up Bryson on Thursday, Bryson gave him a big smile!!! On Friday morning, Bryson went with Grandpa to visit Grandma at work to meet her co-workers and on Friday night, they went to visit Great-Great Grandma. The minute he saw his Great-Great Grandma he put his arms out and wanted to go to her! :) Bryson definitely knows who spoils him!!!

Grandpa spend the entire day Friday with Bryson playing and having lots of fun!!!

It's clear to see how much Bryson loves his Great Great Grandma, she's definitely a special lady!!!

On Sunday morning, we met Grandma and Grandpa in Cannon Falls. We both missed Bryson so much we couldn't wait to see him!!! :)

Bryson even helped us look for a new house! We decided that Bryson could pick the house that we were going to purchase and it looks like he made a good choice! We move in late September and are very excited for Bryson to have a yard to play in and a huge room for him and his toys!
