Summer is here!

It's hard to believe it's the middle of July already! This past weekend we decided to have a nice relaxing weekend at home since we have been gone for the last three weekends! On Saturday we went to the park for the first time! Bryson enjoyed swinging and playing in the grass!

Bryson was pretty tired after we got home from the park! :)

Dad is traveling this week, so Bryson and I have been keeping each other company. Last night, Bryson and I went for a walk and stumbled across a polka band that was playing. We decided that we should probably stop and watch for a while. Bryson seemed to early enjoy it!!

Bryson is almost crawling now! He really scoots all over, it's pretty cute! He has been sleeping through the night and is definitely on a schedule. He takes two naps at daycare and one nap at home. We skyped this week with Grandma and Grandpa Zwart and Bryson was really looking at the computer wondering how they got inside the computer :) Bryson is starting to really like the cats, he reaches for them and likes to touch their fur. Vito even pretended to nip Bryson, but pretty much just licked his finger. Vito seems to understand that he needs to be gentle when it comes to Bryson!

Bryson can hold the bottle himself if he laying back on a pillow, but if he's in his high chair he can hold a sippy cup, but it gets pretty messy!! After Bryson is done scooting around, he is able to sit himself down! At first he was a little wobbly, now he doesn't even give it a second thought! We had to upgrade Bryson's car seat this past week because he was getting too heavy to carry in his little car seat!

Home to ND! (June)

This past weekend we went home to see Grandma Rocksvold! Every time we go for a visit Bryson has a new first, this time it was crawling or at least the beginning stages, he scoots everywhere! Bryson definitely loved spending time with Grandma and gave her lots of smiles!! It's always such a treat! We also spent time with Auntie Farrah, Carsten and Jocelynn. Bryson definitely loves his cousins and played nicely with them!

Auntie Farrah also finished her beautiful cross stitch project and had it framed for Bryson, it is absolutely beautiful!! We were saving a place for it in Bryson's room and it looks amazing!!

Bryson had an ear infection this past week but has been getting much better! He now officially weights more than 20 pounds :) He's definitely a big boy! We had to buy him all new summer clothes because he outgrew the majority of the ones we had!

Bryson is really starting to notice his surroundings. Often I catch him smiling at the cats and lately he has been reaching out his hands when he sees the animal comforter above his dresser. He smiles as he looks at the animals, it's so cute!! Dad always holds Bryson up to the lion on the comforter so he can touch it! :)

Father's Day!!

We had a great first Father's day weekend!!

It is always so easy to tell how much Bryson loves Tony! :)   I just love to watch Bryson when he sees Tony for the first time when he picks him up at daycare, Bryson's face lights up and he has the biggest smile!! Bryson (with a little of Mom's help) made Tony a book from shutterfly and a collage picture frame that included pictures of Dad and Bryson! Bryson is definitely lucky to have such a great Dad as Tony, we are both very thankful!!

Bath time is still one of our favorite times! Bryson splashes so much, everyone gets a bath!

Bryson is so cute when he sleeps! He now can put his binkie in his mouth himself!!

Bryson also likes his new bike/jogging stroller!

At The Cabin

Last week Dad had the entire week off of work and he went to the cabin on Saturday morning. Bryson spent the weekend with mom because she had to work Monday and Tuesday and got to spend two days at a new day care in Minneapolis. It made us appreciate our "normal" daycare that much more! On Tuesday after work Mom and Bryson left for the cabin straight from work.

It was an extremely hot week at the cabin and it was all that we could do to stay cool! Lucky for Bryson, Dad surprised him with a new pool!

Mom was only able to spend Tuesday and Wednesday night at the cabin so we made the most of the two days together! We even got a picture on Grandpa's new boat and Bryson went to his first Flea Market!

Grandpa even let Bryson drive the new boat! Well, it never left the dock but Byrson sure liked steering!!!

After Mom left on Thursday morning, Bryson spent lots of time with Grandpa, Grandma, Tatiana, Tiffany and Cameron!

Bryson was a great little camper and had lots of fun at the cabin for the first time! He got to sleep inside (in the air conditioning) with Grandpa and Grandma and throughout the day we stayed cool by lots of swimming, laying in the shade, and taking breaks inside the camper.

Overall, we had a fantastic 4th of July with the Zwart family and Dad cannot wait until next year when we may be able to practice some fishing! :)
