Bryson is 4 months old!

Four months old has started off really well!! Bryson has slept the entire night consecutively for three nights!! He has gone to bed at 8pm and wakes up around 6am! We are definitely getting spoiled and we are keeping our fingers crossed that this continues!

Bryson is starting to giggle much more often and is even starting to imitate sounds. Today I was making a funny noise and he was concentrating so hard trying to replicate the sound, I couldn't help but laugh but I felt bad that I hurt his feelings! It was just so incredibly cute I couldn't resist. Bryson is such an amazing addition to our family, Tony and I both look forward to coming home to spend time with him every evening!

Bath time is still one of our favorite activities. Last week Bryson slipped his bottom off the seat in the tub and slid down before I could grab him. Luckily he's getting so big, his feet stopped him but he definitely had a scared look on his face! He looked at me still scared and I smiled and told him that it was ok and he gave me a big smile! :)

Bryson has his first friend at day care. Every morning when I drop him off, this little boy comes over and looks at Bryson in the car seat and smiles! :) When Tony picks Bryson up, the little boy always wants to help Tony with the car seat and it always hanging around Bryson. It's so good for Bryson to be around other babies and to make friends!

Summer in March??

We have been having some amazing warm March weather! It was at least 75 degrees, which was a record! Bryson went for his first walk in the stroller this week and we had so much fun!!

On Thursday Bryson got pink eye for the first time :( so I had to stay home from work with him, but we sure made the most of the day! Bryson was very snuggly and wanted Mom to hold him all day, which I didn't mind at all! During the day, we walked around the pond at Target and Bryson was busy looking all around! Bryson was even smiley when we were at the doctor's office!

Daycare always comments at how much Bryson smiles, so we are pretty sure that he is the most smiley baby of all time!! When Tony whistles at Bryson he smiles so big!! I am practicing Momma and Dadda with Bryson to be fair, I would feel terrible if he said Momma first and we didn't practice Dadda :) When I say Momma and Dadda Bryson always smiles and thinks it's the funniest thing!! Tony keeps saying that he can't tell a bad joke!

Bryson is holding pretty much all of his toys and is able to put things in his mouth now. He really likes his little cow that shakes when you pull the string!! He's at such a fun age!! When he takes a bath, he always has a link in his hand :) Dave and Lindsay came over last night for supper, and Bryson gave Lindsay so many smiles, I know that he's going to be a heart breaker someday!

Tony and I put our finger under Bryson's toes and he curls his toes every time! He has the most precious little toes! Bryson giggled for the first time today!!!! Tony was tickling Bryson's neck and he let out a big giggle!!! Tony and I immediately looked at one another and started to laugh! Tony tickled his neck again and he let out another giggle! :) There's nothing in this world that beats his laugh, it was priceless!!!!

This week Bryson and I are solo because Dad will be gone for work. Bryson is still sleeping very well and is typically only up one time during the night and often will sleep for 7-8 hours straight!!

Bryson's baptism!

Bryson's baptism weekend started off on Friday with Grandma Rocksvold, Farrah, John, Jocelynn and Carsten arriving! They arrived late Friday night and we stayed up late talking and of course going through the huge bag of clothes from Grandma! I keep saying that if it wasn't for Grandma and Auntie, Bryson would be naked!! :)

Saturday morning we had a nice breakfast and spent time catching up! Everyone was so amazed at how much Bryson has changed since they last saw him! In the afternoon, Tim, Theresa, Tatiana, Tiffany and Cameron came by and spend time playing with Bryson. Before we knew it, it was time to go to Church! Bryson was baptized at Grace Lutheran church by Pastor Mark. The church gave Bryson a beautiful blue blanket that is the perfect size!! We use it pretty much every day now!

Bryson is very blessed to have such great Godparents as Jake and Lisa! It will be fun to watch the boys as they grow up together and become the best of friends! :) Bryson wore a darling little suit to the baptism and was the only baby who didn't cry during the baptism! He is always such a happy little guy, his smile melts my heart!!

After the baptism, we stayed at a hotel in Brooklyn Park so the kids could go swimming! It was fun to see Jocelynn, Carsten and Cameron playing so nicely! The water was freezing, otherwise, Bryson was going to go swimming for the first time...We ordered pizza and had a couple drinks at the hotel, and it was so nice to relax after the long day! We opened gifts and then it was time for bed!

Bryson-14 weeks!!

Bryson slept his first full night (9 hours) on Monday night!!! On Friday night when Bryson would wake up during the night, Tony put Bryson's binkie back in and he fell right back asleep. He ended up going 8-8 1/2 hours without eating so we knew a full nights sleep was just a matter of time! He definitely doesn't sleep through the night every night, but he typically only once! He is still not sleeping very much at daycare and we have gotten into quite a nice routine! Bryson still loves taking baths and splashes so much!! Last night Tony and I both had soap on our faces :) Bryson just smiles at us! He is such a happy little guy, and is such a joy!! We couldn't be more blessed!!

The girls at daycare are absolutely wonderful! When I drop him off in the morning, he always gives them such a big smile! It makes it so much easier to leave him when I know he's happy there. I have stopped calling daycare everyday to see how he's doing. He was a little fussy last weekend and he's been drooling quite a bit so we were thinking that he might be teething. He seems to be better now, but we're watching closely, so more to come!

We purchased a Bumbo chair to help strengthen Bryson's neck and core, and we have seen big improvements! He also is starting to sit in his bouncer and play. It's amazing how big he's getting!!
